Counting instances of a date with 3 variables...

Hi,

I need a formula that does the following:

• Counts the number of dates in ($A1:$M1) that are before the current date (D1).
• Only do this if the last date in list (M1) is less than or equal to the current date.
• If it is more than the current date, just count the number of dates between ($A1:$M1)

Any help appreciated.
