Red face Removing all entries that are NOT duplicates

    Hi there,

If i have a column of entries (in this case long string numbers only) I know how to remove any duplicates found in the document.

What i was hoping someone could help me with was how i would go about removing all entries that did not have a duplicate so all that would be left would be number strings
that had 1 or more duplicates within the document.

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    Cheers

    Scott

    Scott.

One simple way could be this. Assuming that your sata start in A2, in B2 and copy down use this.

    Formula: copy to clipboard

Use Auto filter and filter by TRUE.

    Delete all these rows.

Re: Removing all entries that are NOT duplicates

Thanks for that Fotis, I struggled to understand but think i got it??

So if i copy down, all the "true" entries in there are non dupes and if i then delete them leaving just the false entries they will be all the ones that have a duplicate in there? Is that correct?

Thanks so much for your help, much appreciated!
