Formula calculating difference with one column

C3=B3-B2
C4=B4-B3
C5=B5=B4
...

How can I quickly apply this procedure for a large amount of data?

Do you mean applying the formula to more cells down the column C? If yes, you have some options...

1) You can select a range in column C where you want to put this formula like from C3 to say C100, while the range is still selected, type =B3-B2 and hit Ctrl+Enter.

2) You can write the formula in Cell C3 then after hitting enter, you can drag down this formula to the desired cell.

3) You can write the formula in Cell C3 then after hitting enter, you can double click to the bottom right of the border of cell C3, the formula will automatically will be copied down in the column C if the column B is not blank.
