Received VALUE Error when click on enable editing

Does this mean I have to find an error in the sheet? I am trying to use an Excel Template for Daily Work Schedule. I also get Value error when I enable editing but surely there is no error on excel's own template?

Template is in link below. The DAY(DATEVAL) formula in B3 returns an error when the date is changed using the drop down menus.
