    Hlookup & Countif

I've seen a few examples of similar questions, but none seem to me to be a fit. I would like to summarize the number of scores (# of 1's, # of 2's, etc) given to a vendor when that vendor is chosen. Any help, please. Attached is example.

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Re: Hlookup & Countif

    Use

    =COUNTIF(INDEX(Data!$B$4:$F$9,,MATCH($B$3,Data!$B$3:$F$3,0)),3)

Where B3 refers to the vendor name

Change highlighted result for varied results. Alternatively you could also referwnce it to a cell
