Cool If drop down menu equals one of 5 lists, on a certain day of the week, then..

This is my first post, so please forgive me if I've not followed the rules correctly.

I've attached a sample of my spreadsheet so far to help clarify what is bound to be a convoluted explanation of what I'm trying to do.

On sheet 2, you'll see that I have 5 separate lists.

I want to pull information from the F1, F2, M1, M2, and W lists, have them related to my pull down menu, which will then plug the word "OFF" in their corresponding "status" box on sheet 1 on their Fridays (for the F groups) or Mondays (for the M groups) or Wednesday (for the W group).

    Is this a possibility?

    Thank you for your help!

Where is your pull down menu (combo box)? What does it contain? Your explanation is not quite clear enough. Please provide some sample information so that we can understand your logic. I don't see a clear path to a solution based upon the information provided. Help us with more of an explanation.

    Thank you for your reply!

My pull down menu is in cell L2. It contains M1, M2, W, F1, F2.

Basically, the way we work in my office, is we get a day off every two weeks. Monday Group 1 (M1), Monday Group 2 (M2), Wednesday (W), Friday Group 1 (F1), and Friday Group 2 (F2). I have all these people listed on sheet 2 in their corresponding day off list.

I've attached an example of what the end product will look like, but just don't know how to make it happen. In this example, I want to choose F1 from the pull down list, for it to recognize it's Friday, and match the names on the "F1" list on sheet 2, to the master list on sheet 1, and add the word "OFF" into the "status" box for those people.

    Hopefully that helps!
