Moving Sum when inserting rows

Hi,

I need to do Week to date sum figures and I was just wondering if there is a formula that you can use to move the sum down one line when you have inserted a new row.

So for example the below figures add up to seven. If I was to insert a row with the 30/09/2013 sum would add up from 30/09/2013 - 24/09/2013 and so on so forth

I hope I explained this correctly

, I was just seeing that instead of having it to the side could we have it underneath and when A line is inseted above it the sum will jump down a line.

Thanks but what about if its the first part of the month and theres only been 2 days, it should then divide it by two instead of 7
