To find out the first day of a financial year

I have financial year in cell A1 from which i should ge the first day of the respective financial year in cell B1
Pl note financial year starts on 1st april

eg Cell A1= 2000-2001 Cell B1= 01/04/2000
A2 = 2001-2002 B2 = 01/04/2001
A3 = 2003-2004 B3 = 01/04/2003

Can help to suggest a formula to apply?

=1&"/"&4&"/"&left(a1,4)

My self found formula
=DATE(LEFT(A1,4),4,1)

This works simple.
