Dates expiring in 30, 60 and 90 days

    Hello,
I am using Excel 2007. I am trying to create a certificate tracker that will highlight when certificates are due to expire in 30, 60 and 90 days out. I do not have a seperate column that shows their expiration dates. I have seen it done before but cannot figure out the right formulas. Each certificate has a different date on it. So if a certificate was completed on 20-Oct-12 I want it to show that it will expire in 30 days. Any help would be great!

    Thank you very much.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Be sure that best way to describe your problem is to upload a sample workbook.

Be sure that all sensitive data removed, showing what data you are working with, a few examples of what your expected outcome is, and how you arrived at that.

To attach a small sample workbook.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Re: Dates expiring in 30, 60 and 90 days

Here is a screen shot of what I have done up so far. The dates that are listed in each box are the ones that I am trying to show when they are 30, 60 and 90 days out. I am new at excel within the last couple of months.

nflsales, I used the conditional formats that were given that used the yellow, green and red arrows but it is going off of the most recent certificate on the entire sheet so it would show that Aprils certificates were already close to expiring.

Re: Dates expiring in 30, 60 and 90 days

I apologize, each certificate expires yearly so if it was completed last October, I would like it to show that it is about to expire soon. I have tried multiple formulas that I have found on the net but none of them seem to work correctly....that or I am just that excel illiterate haha.

    Thank you
