Excel pricing sheet that prices in different languages

    Hi,

I need to create an Excel pricing sheet that prices in different languages. I have a cell where the user picks a few languages, i.e. Pound sterling, US, Euro, etc. Is there a way based on the language they pick in the calculator that I can display the symbol of the prices, i.e. £, $, €... nex to the number pricing?

    Thank you for your help.

    Re: Localization

You can do this with conditional formatting.

What cell contains the currency type and what cell will the price be in?

    Re: Localization

Try using conditional formatting the prices (using financial format) based on the content of the currency cell.

    Re: Localization

This will only change the symbol not the value, you will also need to create a list of exchange rates so that changing currency will also convert to the correct amount (if that's something you need).
