Completing this spreadsheet index, match and vlookup

I have this attached spread sheet and I am trying to finish it off.

The results come back with 2012 results but for some reason it misses the top result out.

Also I am looking to be able to change cell B2 so that it search from the appropriate worksheet and returns the results from that sheet.

Can any one help solve these last two problems?

    Thanks

I can't see any formulae or source data in your attachment. Not clear what your issue is.

Ace for that. I have tried that and it doesn't seem to work. I take it I should be pasting the code in the first work book?

Re: Completing this spreadsheet index, match and vlookup

did you enter that as an array?

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.

FDibbins, Thanks for that. You were right about the just hitting enter.

When you say use INDIRECT for the second task, I don't fully understand, sorry.

FDibbins. The array works for all the item out of the drop box from Douglas Ward. However from Bryn and above for some reason it does return the top result from that section.
