Hi, I'm trying to create a stock list that will automatically calcuate the total when stock is received/issued. I've got three sheets, one for stock in, one for stock out and one for stock balance. I've attached my draft and filled in an example. Basically i just want the total stock to show in cell C3 on sheet three. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Hi Try this in C3
=SUMPRODUCT(('Stock In'!B3:B500='Stock Balance'!A3)*('Stock In'!D3:D500))-SUMPRODUCT(('Stock Out'!B3:B500='Stock Balance'!A3)*('Stock Out'!D3:D500))
formula covers upto 500 rows in each sheet, edit it if the data exceeds,

Hi, sorry i've just made some adjustments to the spreadsheet, the formula doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm not sure if there is a formula that will correspond the items between sheets 1, 2 and 3? I've attached another example.
