    Re: Rotating Overtime Schedule HELP!

    Hi,

There are probably many ways of doing this. Which one you go for will very much depend on your specific project.

Are you looking for a Formula approach or a VBA approach?

Would the names go to the bottom of the list in the order you add the dates or the order of the dates themselves?
If the dates are added in chronological order then this wont be an issue as it will effectively be the same thing, but if you are likely to jump back and forward with dates when you enter them then it will make a difference to the approach taken.

    BSB.

technically all I need it to do is to have a column of names on the left (actually sets of names) and the phone number next to it. The idea will be that once person a has taken an overtime, someone I enter something and it moves it to the bottom of the list. I found a youtube video for a baseball batting roster that would work but lord, I tried to do what he did and was so lost. I'm in over my head. I attached what I want it to look like. I think I'm just going to have to manually cut and paste each time :-( I really need to take a class on excel.
