Simplify the formula

Is there any formula that could be shorter than this..?

I know that this formula looks very simple if it just be like it, but I'm just using this formula for an example of my problem..
As you can see, if I change the 'Sheet!B4' on logical_test part with other complicated and long formula, then I should write it again on [value_if_false] part right..?

that's make my formula become very long..
And it would take a very long time to saving my file that contained some of this formula..
Will someone help me to simplify my formula please..?

It's usually best to post your actual formula, not a simplified example
The solution to the simplified version is often not easily translated to the real version

That said, you can use the max function

=MAX(Sheet2!B4,0)

I've used the function and it's working good on my work..
But I don't know why, I still need to wait for a long time each time I save my file..
I wonder what went wrong on my workbook..?
