    Lookup

Hi There - can anyone help plse.

I am trying to look up a region & product name combination in a table and returning the status (live or discontinued).

Unfortunately in the lookup up table the product name can either be a number or a group of letters.

Is there a way of looking up the numeric product name and if not then trying the alphabetical name.

    As always much appraciated.

    Thanks

    Tom

    Re: Lookup

Perhaps in J8 and copy down, this ARRAY formula.

    =IFERROR(IFERROR(INDEX($D$8:$D$11,MATCH(G8&H8,$B$8:$B$11&$C$8:$C$11,0)),INDEX($D$8:$D$11,MATCH(G8&I8,$B$8:$B$11&$C$8:$C$11,0))),"Not Exist")

    -- Array(CSE) { }, formulae are confirmed with Control+Shift+Enter.
    Not just Enter.
