I changed your formula a little to this...
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(F9,$H$8:$J$12,MATCH($B$2,$H$7:$J$7,0),1),"")
It is based off the table which you kind of started in H. Take a look atthe attached, I put the new formula in K (highlighted yellow) so you can compare with what you had. Move it to where you want it when you are satisfied it works

I am not sure if a new thread is needed but I would want the column b9 and g9 to talk to each other.
for eg:
if B column has team name as x and 10 different consultants, I want it to calculate how many in team x are in top, bottom, middle upper and middle lower.
team x 4 top, 2 bottom etc - I ideally want a graph of these numbers.
Can you help?
For "Top" use this.Similarly you can get for others.
