    Dividing and Multipling

    Hello,

I have data with Dollars with need to be broken down according to number of kids. I am using a certain formula but it requires manual work. I was wondering if it could be done all once. This is a sample of my data but I have thousands.

    Thank You Guys
    KCCO.

    Hi,

This can't be done all at once, but the process can be sped up significantly (you were very close though).

This is the formula I used in cell D3 to replace yours:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

This formula allows me to copy the formula down to the end of that name (3 columns), and all the way across to amount 11. So it saves you rerwriting the formula for every column.

    Hope this helps

    Re: Dividing and Multipling

Hey FDibbin, it works but if I paste it at D3 it give me the amount from above cell, then when I drag it down it works like a charm. But when I insert the formula on D3 it should do the math on that cell and not copy the above cell.

    Re: Dividing and Multipling

Nevermind instead of starting the formula with =$C2, i started it with =$C3 and it works great. Thanks!!
