Hi All,
I am doing a spreadsheet involving dates and conditional formatting which is fine when I am using a simple date>then colour the cell based on true/false value returned.
However what I want to now do is as follows:
Basically the spreadsheet has a list of items and due dates.
What I would like is a formula to look at today's date (which I have in a cell) as well as a further date cell being 1 month before today's date.
I would like it to do if the due date is greater than today it will highlight in red to show it is overdue, if it is within a month of today's date it will highlight orange to show it will be overdue soon and if it is more than a month away it will be green so say it is ok.
So if it is over todays date = red, between todays date and 1 month before todays date = orange and greater than a month before today = green
Is there a formula/group of formulas I can set up to do this so it displays the overall result in 1 cell?
At present I have them in two columns to show the two status's but would like this in one if possible.
Thank you for your help
