Ranking numbers with additional criteria

Sorry - have absolutely no knowledge of Google Docs.

The logic is, basically:

1) Since 4 numbers must come from the first group (of 10), then find the 4 largest numbers in that group. Mark with "X".
2) Since 2 numbers must come from the second group (of 5), then find the 2 largest numbers in that group. Mark with "X".
3) Since 2 numbers must come from the third group (of 5), then find the 2 largest numbers in that group. Mark with "X".
4) Find the 2 largest numbers in the entire set that do not already form part of either 1), 2) or 3) above. Mark with "X".

I was under the impression it was almost identical, but I guess it does have differences. Thanks again for your help!
