Calculating Trends while by-passing Blank Cells

Hello Forum,
I use an excel spreadsheet that is similar to a calendar format to track picking decisions:
Capture.PNG

I would like to calculate a trend of Brix decrease per day (with each block). However, I cannot overcome the innumerable blank cells in the worksheet. How can I write a formula for a trend that ignores blank cells?

Thank you for your help and advice!

Hi and welcome to the forum

Please do not upload a picture of your file...rather, upload a sample of your workbook, showing what data you are working with, a few samples of your expected outcome is (manually entered is ok) and how you arrived at that. (exclude sensitive info). Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Calculating Trends while by-passing Blank Cells

Sorry about that! Here it is:

example.xlsx

Here is an idea of what I am aiming for...For Bellflower 5B, for example, there is an increase in Brix of 0.5 (from 19.6 to 20.1) in three days (Friday to Monday). The slope would be 0.166 Brix/day increase. If there were a hypothetical heat-spike the following Tuesday, and the Brix was suddenly 22, then the slope from 20.1 to 22 in a one day time span would be 1.9. I would like to use all of the available data points as I collect them to create a trend expression (about .625 Brix per day in this example). However, because my co-workers need to see this worksheet as a calendar as well (and we do not sample every day), there are A LOT of blank cells which interfere with calculating a trend over the whole row. How can I by-pass these blank cells?
Thanks for your input and help!
