formula-formatting blank cells

Hello,
could you please help me to solve the following problem- I have used the formula COUNTBLANK and I know that my worksheet contains 15cells with no data, but I do not know which cells are "empty" ones.
Is it possible to color these cells?

You can apply conditional formatting, such that if the cell is blank ("") the cell gets coloured. However, that will not tell you which cells are empty.

A quick way to find them is the do CTRL-Home to send the cursor to cell A1, then press <End> once followed by <down-arrow>. This will take you to the end of a contiguous list of cells, i.e. the cursor will stop at the cell before an empty cell, and if you scroll down further you will see your blank cells. Repeat the process to see if there are any other blank cells.
