Hi there I am new to this forum and haven't had to use Excel since high school so I am having a difficult time with this formula. As you can see by the worksheet I uploaded I am trying to subtract lunch minutes (column F) from Total Hours at work (column E) and have this result shown in Column G.
Lunch breaks are normally 30 minutes however I cant even get Excel to read 30 minutes accurately![]()
I would like to be able to type in just the minutes like 30mins or 45 mins for lunch and have that subtracted from the total hours.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and hopefully I am being clear on my problem and my needs. Thanks again in advance
