Looking for a sum,search and match formula

EXAMPLE.xlsHello, I am looking to have a formula which copies a number that is a result of summing numbers which fall within each month of the year. I will have a seperate formula for each month since they will all be different columns. I am taking this data from a pivot table that extracts from raw data. For simplicity sake I'll say the pivot table is sheet1 and the "report" page is sheet2. I'm looking for "apples, oranges and pears" and need to sum up dates in the format 4/##/#### for the month of april for John. I want this process to be as automatic as possible and have it only sort the 4 in the date so I can use this from year to year. I can paste my criteria into those to make it easier because my descriptions are long. Also if a picture of my actual sheet is easier I can provide that.
