Assistance with my VLOOKUP Formula....Please help...

    Hello,

Thank you for your time in reviewing this.

I have one attachment with two sheets - Detail and Authorized Styles.

I am wondering why my VLookup formula isnt working in I-4 and below.

Basically i want to be able to lookup the value and if is found in my Authorized Style list then it is to be considered Authorized. Basically i am looking up Column H (CONCAT) to my other Sheet - Authorized Style for the same CONCAT.

Can u please assist in letting me know what proper formula can i use?

between the two sheets the formats aren't the same. I tried to reformat them to both either general or number but it didn't work.
BUT, when i did a find and replace 9 replace all and don't pick match entire contents in col F of your detail sheet it then found the item you were looking for. I've had this happen before, it isn't recognizing text numbers so I've had to go through the numbers 0 through 9 doing that when i have a long list of numbers.

Try this formula in cell I4:
    =VLOOKUP(H4*1,'Authorized Styles'!$E$2:$E$172,1,FALSE)

Some of your numbers on the Detail sheet are stored as text.
If you multiply by 1 it will convert to numerical values.
