Problems with a formula for OLE_LINK1 cell

Hello. In column E am trying to write the formula =Concatenate(C2+D2), however when I write it, the formula is =CONCATENATE(OLE_LINK1+D2)

I have tried copying and pasting C2 as a value. I have also tried Format Painter. Changing the format is not working.

What is OLE_LINK? And how can I re-format this cell so that it will be just C2?

Couple questions...
does this work any better? =C2&D2 though I don't suspect it will since it is the same w/o writing out concatenate?
is there a link in C2?
if so can you just do a copy > paste special > values to replace the link with a value then do the concatenate?

Yes, there seems to be a link in C2 and I can't get rid of it. Copying and pasting as a value doesn't work.

When I used your formula above, and drag the formula down for all the cells in column E, it drags the orginal link with it, as seen below.

There is something embedded in that cell, it looks like it might be a table name
If you click on cell A2 and look in the cell address to the left of the formula bar you see OLE_LINK1 but if you click on cell A5 where David is the cell address A5 appears in that spot.
AND, what I find even more interesting is that in col D I put in the formula =A2&B2 and "OLE_LINK1&B2" does not appear.

Since it is only the one cell, I just did it manually. The rest of the document worked fine.
