I want to solve the below algebra equation for x, however, I want the result of the formula to always equal 0 when I change the other values. Any ideas how I'd do that?
0 = (0.7*300) + (0.3*x*2100) + (0.3*(1-x)*-1900)
I understand that I can use goal seek to simply solve it but not to constantly keep the same result like what I'm trying to get.

Hi, no, sorry, I meant everything except the 0 and x.
Edit: But obviously the value of x will change as I'm changing the other values, apart from 0 which I want to remain the same.

Hmm... no really good in math.
I did a sample, with random (0.7*300) + (0.3*x*2100) + (0.3*(1-x)*-1900)
from 0.1 to 0.9, then the 3 set of multiple will always get the same result.
(0.7*300) = 210
(0.3*2100)= 630
(0.3*-1900) = -570
Not quite what I was after but thanks for taking the time.
