How to Populate an Empty Cell with Values from Adjacent Same Record But Different Column

Hello,

I have data in Excel spreadsheet where the responses for questions that have multiple possible responses appear in separate columns. So for example, if question number 5 has 5 possible answers, each response is recorded in a separate column. This makes for quite a long spreadsheet and in many cases, there's just one or two responses, so I'd like to put as many of the answers as I can for each record into one column or two columns.

Is there a code that will allow me to populate the values of a cell If it is empty with the contents of the adjacent cell?
