How to provide a value based on multiple criteria.

I am new to this forum, as this is my first post. I have been trolling for a few months now.

I have a document attached and I am trying to come up with a formula that will look through other worksheets for values based on two criteria. I am specifically trying to provide the average number of rooms sold on a specific day of the week for the past 8 weeks. I was not sure whether VLOOKUP would accomplish this. Any help is greatly appreciated. See the January or February tab on the sheet to see what I am referring to. The formula would have to search multiple sheets for the day of the week and provide the average.

    Thanks in advance.

So average for the last two months of Rms column? Two months seems easier than 8 weeks but I guess 8 weeks is possible too.

Actual rooms sold. I could average the two, but need to be sure that the average lines up with the correct day of the week. Each month, the day of the week will change based on what day the 1st falls (ex. Monday June 1st and Tuesday July 1st are both the 1st day of the month, but different days of the week).
