I am doing statistical analysis on some torque and angle numbers, and it's for a lot of stations. I have a sheet I can copy data numbers into and it will pump out mean, stdev, +/-3sigma, etc. I would like to set up a sheet to produce a histogram based on the statistical data.
I started and have another sheet that requires a bin size to be entered and then a column fills with +/-10sigma as an upper and lower limit based on the bin size I entered. The problem is, I have to use this formula for the entire column as I may be collecting 200 samples or up to 25000+ samples. Using a formula to do this ends with a bunch of blank cells at the bottom of the column that ruin the histogram. If I filter and remove blanks from the bin column, the histogram is fine.
I would just like to paste the data in the first tab and have everything populate properly without having to filter every time to remove blanks. Is there a way to prevent the blanks from being included into the histogram data?![]()
