Ranking wihin two categories and multiple classes

    Hello,

I need some help to create formula that will allow me to rank within a class in two different categories and also allows me to have the highest number in all classes and categories identified with zero "0".

I am using the following formulas to rank within a class:

F18 is a helper cell which determines placement staring at 0 or 1. I am looking for 1 through 4 or 5th in each class and category and the ability to show zero "0" for the highest score overall (both classes and both columns).

I am attaching a sample workbook. Using Excel 2010. As you can see there are two zeros in the sample. Would like to show one zero - this will then allow me the ability to trigger the helper cell on or off if the placements should be from 1st through 5th if no sweepstakes award is offered at this particular event. The zero stands for Sweepstakes award.

    Thanks for any help!

Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated!

I ended up creating two columns; one for each category and then including both ranges in the helper cell to trigger 0 or 1 for the highest score.

    Thanks again.
