Calculate work days when off days are not normally Sat & Sun?

I was wondering how would one calculate
the total number of working days for the mo
when the normal days off do not fall on the
traditional Sat & Sun.

My off days are normally Thurs & Sun.

A1: first of month date....01-Aug-2013

This regular formula returns the number of workdays in that month, where days off are Thursdays and Sundays:

B1: =NETWORKDAYS.INTL(A1,EOMONTH(A1,0),"0001001")

Note: if there will be holidays, enter them in a range of cells and reference that range.
Example:
with holiday dates in F1:F10

B1: =NETWORKDAYS.INTL(A1,EOMONTH(A1,0),"0001001",F1:F10)

This definitely will work Ron! I did read through the
office tutorial regarding networkdays.intl but when
I input the 0001001 into the function it didn't work.
What i was missing was the quotation marks.
