    Conditional Formatting Colors

    Hey Everybody,

I am looking to have a couple different colors in conditional formatting and I don't want to do visual basic, if I don't need to.

I am looking to have a color system where I have 4 different conditions with different colors but on one of them, it needs to turn red if the color or word occurs more than two times in a row but only for that occurance.

    For example if I have:

Late, On-time, Early, On-Time, Late, Late, Late, Early, etc.

So in this example, since the lates occured 3 times, I need the last late to turn red. I hope this makes sense. the other colors are very simple but I'm having trouble with this part.

Any help would be much appreciated and thank you for your help ahead of time!

That was a huge help! Thank you! Do you know anything that I can add so that it would only show up on the "Late" cells?

Glad to help, and thanks for the rep.

If you change the CF formula in C10 to:

dragged across, that should do the trick. (I'm not able to check in a workbook at the moment, but I think that should work.)
