    vlookup for two sheets

    i have a work sheet in sheet1 all sales data is written of every month one after another
    in sheet2 i have a column 12 table one for every month i want a formula for sheet2 in which table should automatically take month month wise data and place in month wise table can anybody help with this formula
    i m attaching the worksheet with this thread for u r reference Pls help

    Attached the excel with macro, not the most elegant solution but it does what you want it to.
    The limitation however is that once you have run the macro, you would need to delete the results stored on sheet2 before you run the macro again. you can fix this with a simple clearing the required cells in sheet2
