Multiple Conditional Formats With Rules

Hi Guys,

I want to Conditional Format A whole spreadsheet by 3 rules.

If cell Ax reads 1 then fill that cell Red
If cell Ax reads 2 then fill that cell Green
If cell Ax reads 3 then fill that cell yellow.

Its not working though.

Please see an Image from what I attempted after a bit of research;

Hopefully behind the dialogue box you can see that I have 2's that are red etc.

Any Ideas?

When you select the cells to which you apply the CF rules, you must ensure that any formulae relate to the first row in that selection.

It looks as though you have selected from row 1 but then used a formula for row 2.

Try changing the ranges to start with cell $A$2 rather than cell $A$1. I suspect that it is all one row out.

I sometimes find it can be a pain and it's often easier to scrap the CFs you have and start again ... but try the edit first.
