    Countif or Countifs -

    Hello and Thanks In Advance - -
    I need a formula to sum the total hours in column E if column B meets a criteria
    so...how many hours is Technician 1 working each day (column E, F, G, H.......)

    popipipo is correct... you should be using SUMPRODUCT or SUMIF...

    If there is a solution with 'sumif' and 'sumproduct' you can also use a pivot table

    Not too good with pivots....I just click until it makes sense and most times it takes too long. I need to take a class or something. Thanks anyway
