Put Formula/Calculation Inside an Imported PNG, JPEG Form

    Hello Guys,

I need your help. There are instances that I have to download forms in pdf convert them to PNG or JPEG then import to Excel 2007. Why I don't fill-up the forms in pdf in the first place? Because I have to prepare a lot of schedules to substantiate each item needing proofs/calculations, a good example here is a 1040 Form. My approach is to put a text box one by one then link them to the schedules I made. My question is: Is there a BETTER/FASTER way to do this? Thank you so much!

    1040 Form.pdfThanks DILIPandey,

Yes. Those squares that you need to fill-up with either text or numbers. Tax Form 1040 is a good example (pls see attached). It is doable with the text box which I was using right now..but it is very tedious...And this Form 1040 has many supporting schedules, all forms too.
I hope you can help me.

    Thanks DILIPandey
As what I explained to my preview post, I am importing that to excel in png format. That 1040 is just one of the many forms I use---that 1040 is the hardest though.

That's where I need you and the other experts help. There is now a graphics inside excel. That is basically how the workbook looks. I want to put calculations inside those boxes.

What I do is use text boxes and get the link from other cells.

As I mentioned before, this method is doable but very tedious.

I need you and the other experts help to show me a faster and easier way.
    Thanks a lot!

    Thanks sgh,

As I mentioned on my previous post, I find tax software very limiting (TurboTax, ProSeries). I prefer the beauty and elegance of Excel. Prepare the schedules then link it.

What I do is use text boxes and get the link from other cells.

Kindly you and the other experts take some tricks from your sleeves in order to help me find a faster and easier way.

    Thank you so much!
