Finding Largest Value in Column B with Given Criteria in Column A

    Hi All,

I have a simple vlookup example. My question is, how do I look for the largest value in column B given the criteria from column A when the Value is equals to 2. What formula do I use? And if possible, what is the VBA codes for this set of formula?

    A B
    1 2
    2 5
    3 7
    2 9
    2 12
    4 23

    Use this array formula

    =MAX(IF(A1:A10=2,B1:B10))

Confirm with Ctrl+Shift+Enter and not just Enter
    Life's a spreadsheet, Excel!
