calculate points based off a set point system

    Hello everyone,

I’m trying to write a formula that will automatically take a group of football scores, compare them with a set of predictions and then calculate points based off a set point system.

    Example:

Correct score 9 points Wigan v Hull correct score was 1.1 prediction was 1.1 = 9 points
Correct Result but not correct score Tottenham v Fulham eg. correct score was 2.1 prediction was 3.1 = 2 points
Correct draw 4 points. Stoke v QPR correct score was 1.1 prediction was 2.2,6.6,0.0,3.3 etc etc= 4 points
Correct goal margin 4 points. Stoke v QPR correct score was 2.1 prediction was 1.0,3.2 etc etc = 4 points
We also have a double point option where you select 2 games and you get double points for those games. (on sheet marked with a *)

I’ve attached the excel spreadsheet below and would be forever grateful if one of you could help me with this.

One problem we have is when there is no score in the correct scores column it gives us a valule wed like that value to be 0

On the spreadsheet I’ve added the predictions, and some example scores and my pathetic attempt at a formula.
The main problem i have is i cant get a formula to work without the second formula in rows H,I.

I would be grateful for any replies.

    Thanks.
