    Combining two lists deleting multiples

I have two lists, List 1 ans List 2. I am looking to combine the 2 lists but also to delete any multiples between them. I have attached a file with the two lists. I am looking for either a formula or macro to do it. Preference is for a formula as long as it will not take to long to update when I refresh the file.

    Thanks.

Re: Combining two lists deleting multiples

Thanks for the reply. I should have maybe been more specific in my request. I am looking for a dynamic way of combining the lists either through a formula or a macro. This list gets updated and names can be added or dropped. So either a formula that will do it automatically as the list gets updated or a macro I can run after updating the list. Thanks.

You can drag the formula in D2 to below.

Remove duplicates is a standard solution in Excel 2007.

    What should be more automatic?

Re: Combining two lists deleting multiples

What I am trying to get is single list that gets updated automatically without me having to remove duplicates. Column D combines tickers I need the tickers to be unique for each cell. Thanks again for trying to help.

You could record an macro for that, and then push the button to activate the macro.

But if it's much easier to do it that way, I personly doubt it.
