How to Create a Search Function?

Are you familiar with macro code? when a match is found, a message box will pop out to show you the cell address(location) of the found name. I do not even think it is possible to get an output in to message box

I know what macro code is, but I don't know how to do it myself. I found another macro code that would fill in the cell, but it wouldn't tell me where it was, and then I had to manually un-fill it.

You don't happen to know a generic macro code that would either scroll the page to the found cell or just have a pop-up that dictates where the cell is, do you? I'd really appreciate it!
