VLOOKUP in multipal columns?

Hi and thank you for your help in advance

Here is what I am trying to do : (and am hoping some of you clever people can show me how)

Data set :
In column A I have item codes
In column B I have description of item
In Column C the Cost
And column D-N Additional codes (eg 330456 330457 330458) that are colour alternatives of the original item, code in column A. Some have 1 additional code, others have 20 additional codes.

So
All codes in ROW A are the same cost
All codes in ROW B are same cost etc etc, 100's of rows!

In my Invoice I want to type in a code in the "Item" column(B) and I want excel to find the code in the data sheet (in col A, D-N) and input the description in the Description column(C) and the cost in the price column(D).

I know I could do it easier by putting ALL the codes in col A and copy the description and cost, but there are 1000's of codes, so if I can search what is already there...Much better
