Hey my second thead here b4 i start explaining ty again guys for giving your time to read this ^^

so i have a row N5:N12 it has to sum it at cel N13 now next to it i have row O5:O13 in there you can click it to change it walue from emty to 0 to 1 so i want it to sum cells only who have a cell next to theam whit a value of 1 please see screen schot i dont realy know if this even is possible T-T Schermafbeelding 2013-05-19 om 16.15.56.png btw if any one whats my file im happy to share it

it's sumif (in english) som.als (in dutch).

You get better help if you add your excel file, without confidentional information.

Maybe something like this:

=SUMIF(O5:O12,1,N5:N12)

sorry the b4 was (before) so yeh you know b4 but was kinda stupid to type becouse this is a excel form hehe sorry for the misunderstanding

I saw your PNG.

My appoach would be using pivot table for that.

You get better help if you add your excel file, without confidentional information.

Then the forummembers can work with it (and test it).

hey thx voor de code it works perfect now i have a last quastion if this is possible?

=ALS(O14=1"SOM.ALS($O$5:$O$13;1;$N$5:$N$13)","0")

so basicly a extra if so if cell O14=1 it uses that code that you gave me befor and if not it gets value of 0

what i did atm to create the effect of what i want i combined your code and put it at a diffect cell and use this value on other

I have made a bypass to create exact what i want so far in combination of your code ^^ ty for your help if its possible or not you did solve my case so il wait for your replay befor i mark this solved ^^

many english excel users use a colon ( , ) instead of a semi-colon ( ; ) in the file.
