Hi guys,

I desperately need help with this. I have been trying to find formulas or macros to do this but nothing seems to work for me. I am new to macros so I might just not be doing anything right. Ideally a formula for this problem would be preferred if possible.

I have an excel sheet with a tab for every day in the month. The tabs are named using the date (15.05.13 and so no). I am using a formula to make several cells in the sheet equal the name of the tab, so it is showing the date that the tab refers to, and that's working great. What I need is to be able to make a few cells equal the previous tabs date, either by using the name of the previous tab or a cell in the previous tab that already shows the date that the tab refers to.

I want to be able to put this into the template sheet so that every time I add a sheet the formula updates to show the info from the previous tab. So on 15.05.13 the formula gives me 14.05.13, when I add a new sheet on 16.05.13 the formula gives me 15.05.13, when I add a new sheet on 17.05.13 the formula gives me 16.05.13, and so on.

I hope that makes sense. Anyone know of any way to get this to work?

Please help!!!
