I am new o this forum and new to Excel and was wondering if anyone could guide me in the right direction. I need a spreadsheet with data validations. I have written down the validations and wanted to know what is best way to implement them. For example one of the columns would need the following validations:
1) number of characters between 4 and 11 (I say characters because they can be numbers and the (only)special character %
2)if the first 2 char are="07" then the number of characters should be =11
3)no duplicates
I am not 100% sure if the above data validations can be implemented by any custom formula or if it needs some VBA code?
Any help would be much appreciated.
