    Could you copy column b and place it into column A then use Delete Duplicates. to do this copy column b, go to the last row in column A and paste, then if you are using excel 2010 go to the Data tab > Remove Duplicates

    another option that would get the unique values
    look example below.extracting unique

    You can mark your thread "Solved"

    How?
    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save

    Note:
