What is the expected output of Row 119 since it is coming after won (Row40)

output should be "1st"... like the count has reset now as the last entry was Won

Hi, I have recreated the conditions in the file; i really hope to get some help here. please see attached.
In a gist, I want to find out how many times the company has attempted to register the project before it has finally won the project. I appreciate if someone could extend help. thanks!

Please check if the attached file is what you are looking for.
The formula used is a ... 6 rows long Array formula, so when you edit / enter it, you will need to hold Ctrl-Shift and hit Enter. If you see the formula being wrapped inside a { } then you did it right.
Note that there is no helper column (which is the main reason why it's such a long formula).
I suggest you copy the formula on F2 of this sample, paste on F2 of your workbook and drag it down.

Hi Lemice, yes that's what I want to achieve but why is it that when I copied the formula on actual file, instead of "Won", it appears as "0th"... I'm not sure if I get what you mean by "when you edit / enter it, you will need to hold Ctrl-Shift and hit Enter"... please elaborate, sorry...
First, copy the formula on F2 on the sample file and paste to Cell F2 on your actual file.
After that, click on that cell and look at the formula bar to see whether the formula is wrapped inside a { } or not.
If not, click directly on the formula bar, then hold Ctrl-Shift and hit Enter.
Check it again, it should be wrapped inside a { }. All you have to do afterward is drag the formula down to the end of your workbook, or copy it, select Cell F3 to the last row with data on Column F, and paste.
