Testing two rows of variables for two different formula

First thanks for reading and taking the time to help me!

I have a problem I have two rows of data each containing Dollar values. What I want excel to do is to compare these with each other on basis of simple formula. The first row I will call A and the second B, they each have the same date that the value occurs. If the value in A is higher than B I would like Excel to do this: 1/A, the A being the value of that certain set of data (e.g. so for t=1). If the value of A is lower than B I want excel to do this: -1/A, again the A must be for that period (e.g. t=15).
