    Dividing time by a number (distance) to find pace

    This is probably a very simple question, but I haven't been able to find a working solution in all of the other posts about time division. I have a spreadsheet with a distance column and a time elapsed column. I simply want to divide the time by the distance to get the per mile pace.

    Example:

    F4=32:28 for 32 minutes, 28 seconds
    E4=3.11 for 3.11 miles

    G4 = ??? so that it will show 10:26 for 10 minutes, 26 seconds per mile

    I have only been able to do this by converting to fractional minutes for the math and converting back afterward...

    10:30 /2 -> 10.5/2 = 5.25 -> 5:15
    There has to be a simpler way.

    Thanks!
