ticket ageing in excel

new to the forum and definitely no expert on excel.. hope you guys can help..

while looking for a way to determine ageing of tickets, i stumbled upon this thread http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...ing-hours.html which is similar to my concern except that for my case there are no working times (e.g. 8am-5pm). the tickets can and should be finished regardless whether it's passed 5pm

for example: "ticket created = Apr23 12:00" and "current time is Apr24 14:00", how can i arrive at "age of ticket = 26 hrs"?

again, my apologies for my very limited knowledge in excel.. thanks in advance for your help..
