Protecting cells in a worksheet

Hi all,

Please I have some cells in a worksheet that have several formulars I would not want to be tampered with. So I need to lock the cells so that they can only be edited with password. The process I know which is going through Format>Cells>Protection.......... only gives a temporary solution.

I want the cells locked in such a way that each time they are tampered with, a password will be requested.

Please help.
